Where to use it

Hard, non-porous surfaces: metal, hard plastic, rubber hoses, glass, wiring, and pipes. On porous surfaces such as bare wood, cardboard, or raw concrete, the ink can penetrate the material and may not wipe off cleanly. Removal may require washing, with sufficient drainage to allow the water and ink residue to flow away. Washing may damage water-sensitive materials such as cardboard.

Avoid use on internal engine parts, sealing surfaces, components that fit into sealed assemblies, or anywhere ink residue could affect performance or cause contamination.

Removal

BoltMate is non-permanent. Marks stay visible during the job, then wipe off with a damp or dry cloth. Water, rain, and pressure washing also remove them. For electrical parts, use electrical contact cleaner.
